Chef Situ
Chef Situ has been a part of the tight knit long term Mango team since 2000, cutting his teeth as our assistant chef and kitchen-hand onboard under various qualified foreign chefs for well over a decade.
In about 2014 it was time for Situ to take over The Mango kitchen and make it his own. Situ did the hard yards enrolling in culinary school in Jakarta, gaining accreditation and adding skills, fresh workplace experiences and new cuisines to his repertoire.
With a passion for the cooking, hard work & making people happy it was a natural progression to the top job for Situ and he has been our star chef ever since. Situ prides himself on the little extras that complete every meal, and you certainly won’t go hungry while onboard The Mango.
