Mentawai
The Mentawai Island group is the most consistent places for waves in the World
From world class waves such as Lances, HT’s, Lances Left, Thunders, Macca’s, Greenbush, Rifles and amy more that make up this unique region. Away from all the most well known breaks we have been searching through this are for over 25 years. Our crew and captain’s are the most knowledgeable throughout the Mentawai Islands.
Matt Cruden and his crew being one of the original surf charter boats to explore the region, with all of this expertise it means that you can be delivered into the best waves possible and stay ahead of the other charters to score some relatively un-crowded waves.
Telo Islands
The Telo’s are off the west coast of Sumatra in the Telo Islands, which is north of the Mentawai Islands.
The region is home to a massive selection of waves, with over 45 known breaks there is something for everyone. With our experienced team we can guide you through this lush region and share the vast group of islands. From slabbing reefs, outer bombies and punchy sand breaks this is a must to explore.
Nias & Hinako
The Nias region is known throughout the surfing World as the famous Lagundri Bay
Throughout the Nias region there are so many World class waves such as Asu, Bawa in the Hinako and many more hidden gems. With longer group booking it can be a very rewarding experience, Northern Sumatra is harder to get to and more remote. Making this a great place to explore often with nobody around. With this trip we often plan to visit the Banyak Islands and give our guests the ultimate adventure seeking waves onboard the Mangalui.
Banyak
The Banyak Islands is home to the World class right hander “Treasures” and also home of the “Bay of Plenty”
This is a picturesque region that has many waves that with some local knowledge can be explored. This surf region is the furthest place we visit in the North and going up to this area you really get the full experience of a well travelled surf trip. It is home to a large Turtle sanctuary and surrounded by natural beauty.
