Conditions/Forecast
A dream forecast with fun swell predicted for the entire trip and a mid-trip size boost to get excited on.
Seasonal October rains, localized storms and plenty of ensuing glassy sessions behind those downpours.
STANDOUT SESSIONS
Everyday just got better and better. A perfect trip where you wake up tripping that the day in front of you is better than the day before.
The stoke just got higher and higher which made every day a standout session, onboard and in the water.
The boys hadn’t been to The Lighthouse for 20 years so to score a fun sesh at an old favourite had everyone grinning from ear to ear.
Wave of the trip
Hard to select a single standout wave that stood out from the rest this trip, but everyone is heading home with some great memories of fun uncrowded sessions with their mates.
Personalities
These guys have spent so much time on Mangalui Ndulu over the years it is like a second home. They just settle in and let the captain & crew make the calls. These are the trips you score most.
Food
Chef Situ and Putra do everything well but again it’s the curries that are the highlight. Situ is quickly becoming a curry wizard as every trip they just get better and better, and every trip we hear “that was the best curry I’ve ever had!”.
Fish on
Not much dedicated fishing time from our guests at all this trip but Team Mango cleaned up!
Deli and his crew spearfishing and jigging off the side at night was an absolute score town. Plenty of fresh sashimi and ceviche for the guest and the crew took home over 200 kg of fish to their families. Tell you what - one happy crew.
